My best friend in high school and I were in love with him. I don't know how many times we watched 10 Things I Hate About You together. And while I grew out of my crush, he was still one of my favourite actors, he was extremely gifted.
I really hope it was an accident and I am so shocked and saddened by the news today of his death. I'm still having a little trouble really believing it.

10 Things I Hate About You is STILL one of my all time favorite movies, particularly when he sings to her in the soccer stadium. Sigh.

I truly feel like we had just started to see some of the amazing things he was capable of as an actor (and director, having read Chelsea Talks Smack).
It's just so hard to get my head around, such a sad loss. Especially for his daughter.
I know, we loved 10 Things ... good times!
